Today the royal family stepped out to make Queen Elizabeth’s 92nd birthday.

In the annual Trooping The Colour ceremony, members of the royal family took part in a traditional parade procession which included newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in their first public appearance since their honeymoon.

The Duchess of Sussex rode in a carriage alongside her husband, The Duke of Sussex, with Kate Middleton and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall riding ahead of them.

Queen Elizabeth followed in her own separate carriage while Prince William and Prince Charles rode on horseback because they are both royal colonels of the Household Division.

And to mark this special occasion, it looks like two of the royals chose to wear hats by none other than Irish milliner, Philip Treacy. Both Meghan Markle and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall wore hats by the Irish designer.

Meghan Markle opted for a tiered pale pink hat while Camilla went with a a pale blue design to match her outfit.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte were not in the procession however, they are both expected to be in attendance when the royal family step out onto the balcony at Buckingham Palace as a tradition in celebration of the birthday of the queen.
