Here at Her.ie headquarters, there’s nothing we love more than a celebrity wedding – especially when it’s an Irish celebrity wedding and today is the day when Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams will officially become ‘Brogue.’ Aw.
The Irish Sunday Mirror is reporting exclusively today that Brian will finally be able to enjoy a pint after his bride-to-be slapped a pre-wedding booze ban on him.
Vogue apparently ordered party animal Brian to have a quiet night in at their Florence hotel last night when the couple and their friends and family arrived in Italy ahead of their wedding, which is taking place today at the luxurious Castello Di Vincigliata later on today.
Brian is reported to have pleaded with Vogue to let him go out and have a drink, but Vogue was so worried the former Westlife singer would break the curfew, she was forced to stay in with him to make sure he didn’t escape.
How…eh…romantic?
Anyway, yesterday the couple were spotted strolling through Florence arm-in-arm as they scoped out the city. However, Brian and Vogue have signed an exclusive contract with OK! Magazine Australia which forbids them from being seen in public before their big day. This means that Brogue could be putting their estimated €250,000 pay-out from the publication at risk.
“They were clearly very much in love, blissfully walking around and enjoying the scenes of Florence. They were a bit shocked when it started raining as they weren’t dressed for the weather so bought an umbrella off a street salesman,” said a local who spotted the couple.
“They were just doing what soon-to-be-married couples would do. No one noticed they were famous,” the local added.
The couple are currently staying in Florence’s posh Lungarno Suites Hotel, where they are staying in the hotel’s signature Arno River View suite, which costs around €1,950 a day (mainly due to the round-the-clock security that comes with the room).
They have also rented out a number of rooms for their family and friends, leaving their hotel bill at more than €20,000.

Castello Di Vinciglata: Brian and Vogue will swap vows in a rooftop ceremony.
This morning the couple and their friends are going to be picked up by blacked-out people carriers where they will be driven to the Castello Di Vincigliata. Brian’s best man will be Australian DJ Kyle Sandilands, while Vogues six bridesmaids will be led by her sister Amber. Brian’s two daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue are expected to act as flower girls.
The Castello Di Vincigliata will be swarming with security guards today in order to ensure that no one takes a sneaky picture of the couple and leaks it online – something that will immediately cause OK! Magazine Australia to terminate their contract with the couple.
Staff at the castle are already in the process of laying out a road of candles to welcome the wedding party before the roof-top ceremony takes place.
