Saturdays singer Una Healy made sure that her fiancé Ben Foden got to bed early on the eve of their wedding by closing the bar at midnight.
Una revealed all in the new issue of OK! Magazine.
"They asked me how late I wanted the bar to open the night before the wedding. So I was sensible, for me, and said midnight. I just didn't want people getting drunk the night before,”
“I told Ben, too. I didn't want him having one of those 'puffy faces' you get after drinking in our wedding photos,” the Tipperary girl told OK!.
The bride said it meant so much to marry her groom at home in Ireland.
“I love to represent my country and my county. Some people leave home to forget, but I love to talk about Ireland. I’m very proud to be Irish.”
