It feels like only yesterday we were watching Vanessa in her role as the introverted Gabriella Montez in High School Musical where she played the fresh-faced teen, but now she’s reached her dirty thirties. Fake news, suuurely?
She looks as glowing as ever, and you’d have a hard time thinking she was 20, let alone 30, but the actress just celebrated the big 3-0 on 14 December.
Work commitments for her new film Second Act had to be attended to before any celebrations as Vanessa had a press day for the flick she stars in alongside Jennifer Lopez (who, side note is almost 50, we KNOW).
After that, it was all play as Vanessa shared a snap aboard a yacht with longterm boyfriend, Austin Butler.
She said it was an “amazing day” and thanked everyone for their birthday wishes.
Ahead of this new chapter in her life, Vanessa said she is feeling “strong, confident, focused and loved.”
She was also surprised with the most amazing birthday cake, which featured a picture of herself when she was little, which Vanessa posted on the day.
