BBC newsreader Kate Silverton revealed on Twitter this morning that she is expecting her second child with husband Mike Heron.
The 43-year-old wrote: “Very happy morning all – a little bit of ‘news’ – Mike & I very happy to share that Clemency is set to become a big sister this summer.”
She then shared a picture of her scan which she captioned: “wouldn’t usually tweet a scan photo but this was too sweet – baby gave us the ‘ok’ him/herself”.
Kate and Mike, who tied the knot back in 2010 after two years together, already have a daughter called Clemency (2).
