It was only a matter of days ago that it was announced the Spice Girls looked set to reunite for the closing ceremony of the Olympics.
But already a spanner has been thrown into the works as it was reported today that Victoria Beckham will only agree to a reunion if they never reform again.
This demand by the singer turned fashion designer has not only sent shockwaves through the ever-loyal fan base but also the rest of the band.
Victoria Beckham is said to be willing to reunite for the Olympics but never again.
But the news comes as no surprise considering how detached Victoria looked from the other girls at the launch of the Viva Forever stage show.
Even if the Olympic performance does happen it is clear tensions will be running high between some members of the band.
The girls haven't performed together in four years as doubt is cast upon reunion.
