Chris O' Dowd joined Jonathan Ross on the couch last night to chat about the success of 'Moone Boy', and ended up telling a hilarious story that anyone with an older sibling will identify with.
Explaining to Ross that 70% of the events in the series actually happened to him in real life, O' Dowd recalled his childhood in Roscommon, revealing that his older sisters tormented him, (like older siblings do).
O' Dowd's sisters had the task of getting him out to school each morning, however before waking him, they would apply make-up to his face and send him off for the day completely unawares.
The best part, the girls were crafty enough to apply it subtly, making it look like “a decision I had made.” Brilliant.
