Video footage has emerged of One Direction members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson smoking a rolled-up cigarette in Peru.
In the video, believed to have been shot during the North American leg of their 2014 stadium tour, Louis says "So here we are, leaving Peru. Joint lit. Happy days!"
Although Louis refers to it as a joint, it is unclear what is in the rolled-up cigarette.
In footage obtained by the Mail Online, Louis (22) asks Zayn (21) what he thinks of the content to which he replies "very controversial".
Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Harry Styles, all aged 20,are nowhere to be seen and it is presumed they were travelling in a separate vehicle.
One Direction played three concerts in Croke Park last weekend and this week they continue their tour of the UK and Europe. Concert dates have been scheduled for North America and Canada this August.
According to The Telegraph, Mike Navarra, of Columbia Records who represent the band in the UK, said: "Our only comment at the moment is the whole situation is in the hands of our lawyers".
