Ryan Reynolds appeared on American chat show Live with Kelly and Michael this week to chat about new film Mississippi Grind.
However, the hosts also wanted to know about James, his baby daughter with Blake Lively.
The 38-year-old A-lister said that James’ first word was Mama.
However he then went on to say “”what my wife doesn’t realise is the baby calls me ‘Mama’ too.
“Seriously. I literally had to sit her down and tell her that penises don’t work that way. She understands… she gets it.”

Ryan also said that his little girl was unwell recently and went on to explain this to presenters Kelly and Michael.
“I was told to check her [James] temperature… through the rectum, which for me it was like… ‘Noooo, it can’t be.
“There’s a mouth! There’s an armpit. There’s gotta be something!'”.
