The film saw Nikki's friends and family pay tribute to her.

Last night, Channel 4 aired a documentary about Nikki Grahame and her experience with the eating disorder anorexia. The Big Brother star passed away last year after being very ill for many years. She was 38-years-old. The show, titled Nikki Grahame - Who Is She?, saw her mother and friends pay tribute to her. Her mum Sue shared happy memories of her daughter, and said that Nikki treasured the moment she won a National Television Award. She revealed that she hangs the dress Nikki wore to the ceremony up and looks at it before going to bed each night. Sue also talked about how she sleeps with Nikki's beloved teddy as it helps her feel closer to her late daughter. As well as paying tribute to Nikki, the show also explored her eating disorder, and the impact it had on her life. Viewers took to Twitter to share how incredibly moved they were by the documentary. One wrote: "I'm actually in tears watching this." Another tweeted: "This is hard to watch. My heart breaks for her poor mum. She was by far the biggest star and most memorable character to ever enter Big Brother." https://twitter.com/Channel4/status/1512120015797075970 A third shared: "So incredibly sad. As a fan who rooted for her and now as a mother who can't imagine the pain her mother goes through." Another fan called for action after the heartbreaking documentary. They wrote: "We have to develop better treatments for people with EDs, people should not be dying." Yesterday, the eating disorder charity Beat, warned viewers that the documentary could be particularly distressing for those with eating disorders.

Tom Quinn, director of external affairs, said in a statement to Metro: "We know that Nikki was a beloved member of the community, however we would advise that anybody currently unwell with an eating disorder does not watch the documentary.

"Whilst the piece talks about eating disorders in a respectful and non-glamourising way, there are some details that would be distressing for those affected by eating disorders, such as specific BMIs and low weight photos."
