As Joey Tribbiani once told us, there is a socially acceptable way to be a graceful loser. You are meant to smile, clap and look like you know that other person deserved the award.
Chris O’Dowd clearly didn’t get that memo and thank God for that.
The actor was nominated for his role in Of Mice And Men play but lost out to Bryan Cranston for his work on All the Way. When his name was read out from the podium, O’Dowd clearly had resigned himself to the rest of the evening.
