Brendan O’Connor was left in an awkward stand-off last night when the closing credits of The Saturday Night Show on RTE1 was hijacked by a heckler in the audience.
As Brendan planned to sign-off for the night, one audience member began a chant calling for a change of Taoiseach.
The chant “Kenny, Kenny, Kenny – Out! Out! Out!” was met by O’Connor taking charge of the situation and telling the guest, "would you sit down, you clown?"
Brendan eventually got to finish the show with the phone giveaway…
