“I love you forever my life giver, my teacher, my mama.”

Chloe Lattanzi, who is the daughter of Olivia Newton-John, has shared a duet she performed with her mother as she pays tribute.

The Grease star passed away earlier this week. She was 73-years-old and surrounded by friends and family at the time.

Posting a video of them singing Window in the Wall, Chloe said that it was an honour to be her mother’s daughter.

“You are my lighthouse mama,” she wrote in the caption. “My safe place. My heart space. It has been my honor and continues to be my honor to be your baby and best friend.”

She continued: “You are an angel on earth and everyone touched by you has been blessed. I love you forever my life giver, my teacher, my mama.”

Olivia’s passing was announced on Monday evening.

In a statement, her family said: “Dame Olivia Newton-John passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends.”

“We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time.”

“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continue with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer.”

John Travolta, who starred alongside Olivia in Grease, also shared a tribute to her.

In a touching post on Instagram, he wrote: “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible.

“I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!”

He ended the tribute, “Your Danny, your John!”
