Wedding Bells! Modern Family Star Has Tied the Knot

It's a real life Modern Family for actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who married his partner Justin Mikita in New York yesterday.

Jesse, 37, who plays lawyer Mitchell on the hit sitcom, tied the knot with fellow actor Justin Mikita in front of over 200 guests on Saturday. 

Celebs like Zachary Quinto, Jerry O’Connell, Rebecca Romijn, Isaac Mizrahi, Nigel Barker, and Cat Deeley all made the guest list, while many of Jesse’s Modern Family castmates were also attendance, including Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, and Eric Stonestreet, who plays Jesse’s husband Cameron on the show.

The happy couple wed yesterday after two years of dating

The pair have been dating for almost two years, and Jesse proposed to his beau in September of last year, while the couple were enjoying a vacation in Mexico.

Jesse and Justin co-designed a “TieTheKnot” bowtie collection to commemorate their wedding day, all the proceeds of which will be going towards groups focused on LGBT rights.

Speaking to US magazine before the big day, Jesse said; “We wanted to get married in New York, because that’s where it’s legal, so we want to support the state that’s in support of us. He means a lot to me, so it’s really special.”
