It wasn’t the Lindo Wing!

Less than two weeks ago, Meghan Markle gave birth to a gorgeous baby boy.

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6th, and he’s just gorgeous.

And now, 11 days after he came into the world, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released the official birth certificate.

For the most part, it’s just a piece of paper.

However, it does mean that we finally know where exactly Meghan gave birth (not that it’s any of our business, really!)

There was quite a bit of speculation leading up to the birth of baby Archie.

Reports said that Meghan would give birth at home, in Frogmore Cottage.

Others suspected that The Duchess of Sussex would follow in her sister-in-law’s footsteps, and give birth at the Lindo Wing.

Well folks, neither of these theories were right.

Baby Archie’s birth certificate has revealed that Meghan welcomed her son into the world in the private Portland Hospital in  Westminster.

Yep, Meghan was whisked from Frogmore to Westminster, 25 miles away, without anyone noticing.

Too right.

The birth certificate has the Meghan Markle’s occupation listed as “Princess of the United Kingdom”, which is a pretty groovy job title in fairness.

Prince Harry was by his wife’s side during the birth, which is just lovely.

Archie was born at exactly 5.26am on Monday, May 6.
