Which Irish Sports Star is Rumoured to Be Stepping Out With Katherine Jenkins?

Is rugby heart-throb Rob Kearney off the market? He could be according to a few reports today (yes, we know. We’re devastated too!).

The Daily Mail reports that Katherine Jenkins appears to have her eye on Rob, who once dated Footballers’ Wives star (and Katherine's friend) Susie Amy.

Apparently Katherine and Rob hit it off last month after he took his parents to watch her perform in Dublin.

Katherine caused controversy last year after she spoke out on Twitter and denied that she had an affair with golden balls himself, David Beckham. Following her denial, there were a host of claims that the Welsh singer took the step of denying the allegations as a publicity stunt.

The suspected romance between Katherine and Rob is believed to have kicked off when the rugby star tweeted her saying: “Bringing the folks tomorrow night 2 your show… Talk about trying 2 contain their excitement!” Katherine replied by saying: “Great! Come say hi!”

After her concert, reports say that Rob waved goodbye to his parents and took Katherine out on the town for the night.

“Katherine and Rob always had a chemistry between them and would openly flirt. But the first night that anything happened was when he took his parents to see her in Dublin,” said a well-placed source.

“He went out with Katherine after the show. They met up with some of his rugby friends and partied,” the source added.
