Women from all over the world are descending on the Ordos Stadium Arena in Inner Mongolia today in the hope of picking up the Miss World Crown.
Among them are Miss Ireland Rebecca Maguire and Miss Northern Ireland 21 year old Tiffany Brien. These two will go up against over one hundred other beauties for the title including the bookies’ favourite Miss Mexico, Mariana Berumen.

Rebecca told the Irish Sun what winning would mean to her: ‘Winning Miss World would mean the absolute world to me, but what I would love to do is take it a bit further and use the title to highlight and promote the charities that I have been involved in.’

Miss Ireland Rebecca Maguire is hoping to use the title for good if she wins.
It is said that one billion people will tune into the pageant which is being hosted by television star and musician Myleene Klass.
