If you have a particularly memorable looking cat, it might be time to wheel out the camera phone.
Grumpy Cat has bagged her owner £64million in promotional deals, after a photo her owner’s brother posted online went viral two years ago.
Merchandise includes promotional DVDs, mugs, t-shirts and TV appearances for the famed internet cat.
Grumpy Cat’s owner, Ms. Bundesen, told the Express:
“What she's achieved in such a short time is unimaginable and absolutely mind-blowing. I was able to quit my job as a waitress within days of her first appearance on social media and the phone simply hasn't stopped ringing since.”
Grumpy Cat, real name Tartar Sauce, has a permanent scowl after being born with both dwarfism and an underbite.
Now the cat eans more than some international household names, including Gwyneth Paltrow (who earned £12m last year), Christiano Ronaldo who took home £27.1m.
Grumpy Cat is now signed to internet cat agent Ben Lashes, guaranteed to see her continue to take the limelight in 2015.
