Helen Flanagan has been accused of being insensitive and stupid for posting a photograph of herself holding a gun to her head online.

The former Coronation Street star published the picture on the same day that the first victims of the Sandy Hook massacre were laid to rest. It was also accompanied by the caption: “Head f**k.”

 

This is the picture that the actress posted at the beginning of the week.

The snap comes only days after 20 children were shot dead in a school in Newtown, Connecticut, by gunman Adam Lanza.

According to the Daily Mail a father at the shrine of the victims said: "It's just ignorance when the eyes of the world are on what happened here, to be posing with a gun like that is insensitive and stupid."

Helen has been making the headlines a lot over the last couple of months.

Helen, who has been in the public spotlight a lot recently due to her stint in the jungle, has since removed the image which was reportedly taken back in October during a photo shoot.
