A source close to the monarch spoke to Us Weekly and said that the Queen had "reached her limit" with the feud.
It seems that things were resolved over Christmas as they had to spend time together with the royal family all gathering at Sandringham, the Queen's royal estate in Norfolk, to celebrate the annual festivities.
The insider said:
"She’d reached her limit with all the drama. She desperately wanted Meghan and Kate to make-up and she got her wish".It seems that they had the opportunity to talk things out over the Christmas holiday with the walk to the Christmas Day service where they were joined by Prince William and Prince Harry and a special lunch for all the family on the 26 December.
The source continued:
"Being under the same roof meant that they couldn’t avoid each other".Surely it wasn't that bad?! We're sure that all is well between them and perhaps Kate, a mum of three, is on hand to provide Meghan with support and advice as she prepares to welcome her first child in spring of this year. Royal fans are convinced they know her due date too and you can see more about those predictions here.
