Zara McDermott and Sam Thompson are ‘giving it one last shot’

It comes after reports that the couple have been having 'crisis talks', amid Zara's involvement in the Strictly Come Dancing scandal.

The pair, who have had their fair share of ups and downs, have been together since 2019 but reports claim their relationship has been in trouble.

According to The Sun, the pair had an explosive row recently and are now trying to mend their relationship.

Sources close to the pair claimed that recent work commitments drove a wedge between Sam and Zara.

It is understood that the pair have been experiencing relationship issues since Christmas.

"Since Christmas Zara and Sam have been really busy with work and have had little quality time to see each other and as a result their relationship has suffered.

"They’ve both wanted to make the most of their careers and say yes to all the exciting opportunities offered to them," they added.

New reports from OK Magazine claim that the couple are now committed to giving their relationship 'one last shot.

“Things have been very up and down for Zara and Sam over the past few months and there have been points that they’ve thought about ending it,” a source told the outlet.

"Zara had been worrying about the Graziano allegations coming out for a while and was terrified at what the public reaction would be but knew she couldn’t keep quiet. She felt she was at breaking point and if she didn’t release that statement, then things would be a lot worse. She’s had so much support but it’s only now that she’s realising the impact that it all had on her.

"Ultimately that put extra stress and pressure on her and Sam as they were both dealing with a lot. She feels her Strictly experience has been tarnished. There have been a lot of tears.

"But they both have a lot of love for each other and are determined to try to give it one more go. They know what they have together and don’t want to have any regrets. Everyone feels they are in the last chance saloon, but think they should give it a go. They are determined to fight to stay together. She and Sam will do everything to make it work.”

Zara and Sam first started dating in 2019 after connecting on Instagram.
