Zara McDermott’s brother might be going into this year’s Love Island

As we know by now, there's always that one person on the series with a famous connection. We've had Gemma Owen, Sophie Piper, Jack Keating, we need another. And the answer to this problem is simple - Zara McDermott's brother Brad. The DJ was rumoured to be appearing on the show last year which would have seen him going down the same route as his sister - only four years later. After he didn't appear on the last season, this one could be it for Brad. According to The Sun, Brad wants to make a name for himself in the TV industry. A source previously told the publication: “Brad is a young, good looking guy, and he has seen how appearing on Love Island has completely transformed Zara’s life. “Though she didn’t find long-term love, it has served as a great platform for her. She also had a great time there, and he thinks it would be a great laugh.” Zara appeared on the show back in 2018 and left with Adam Collard, so thankfully last year wasn't the year Brad decided to enter. As we mentioned, Brad was rumoured to be on the series last year and looking back on the list of people we suspected were heading to the villa, we weren't far off. While Brad wasn't one, we guessed that Gemma Owen, Josh Le Grove and none other than winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu would all make an appearance. While nobody has been officially announced yet let alone an official release date (but the 16th of January is what's being said), the first to be rumoured was Tanya Manhenga. The 22 year old biomedical science student is set to strut her way into the new villa for a winter of love in the South African sun. While she has the brains to back her up, Tanya is very easy to look at as she has previously done some modelling on the side (you might recognise her from Boohoo...) Boasting more than 11,000 followers on Instagram, she has already nabbed huge brand deals with the likes of Simmi shoes and Ego footwear, not to mention former islander Indiyah Polack being one of her online pals.
