13 documentaries to watch on Netflix if you’ve seen Fyre Festival

Keeley Ryan

Have you seen Fyre yet?

The Netflix documentary about “the greatest party that never happened” has been one of the most talked about additions to the streaming service this year.

Focusing on the rise and fall of the 2017 Fyre Festival, the documentary explores how what was first billed as an exclusive festival on a private island, with yachts, luxury villas, VIP treatments, incredible music, and celebrities turned out to be…well, very, very far from that.

The festival was abruptly cancelled after rate guests began to arrive and it became clear the infrastructure that was in place wasn’t enough to host Fyre Festival.

Following FYRE’s release last week, Netflix shared a list of 13 films available on the streaming service if you’re looking for more documentaries to watch.
