3 Netflix feel good films to cosy up to and watch this Sunday evening

Relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Are the Sunday blues kicking in for anyone else around now? Yes, the prospect of returning to work tomorrow is a little bit of a gloomy one, but there’s still plenty of time to get in some much needed R&R.

This is how we see our evening unfolding:

Step one: Have a shower/bath to feel all clean and refreshed

Step two: Put on fresh bed linen (nothing beats it)

Step three: Make some popcorn and turn on one of these easy to watch rom-coms.

GLORIOUS!

1) Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day was released in 2010 and has an incredibly star-studded cast. Everyone from Ashton Kutcher to Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Jamie Foxx and even Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner make an appearance. It follows the stories of a host of different couples and cleverly many of the narratives begin to overlap as the film progresses. It’s such an easy watch and as Feb 14 is fast approaching it might get you in the mood for lurve.

2) Along Came Polly

Along Came Polly is another throwback film featuring Ben Stiller and Jennifer Anniston. It hit our screens in 2004 and centres on Reuben Feffer (Stiller) who avoids risk-taking like the plague. When he runs into an old school friend, Polly Prince (Anniston) who is carefree and spontaneous, the pair unusually hit it off. If you’re into bizarre Ben Stiller humour, this one’s not to miss.

3) Crazy, Stupid, Love

Starring Steve Carell, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone and (best till last) Ryan Gosling, Crazy, Stupid, Love has all your favourite actors. When Cal Weaver’s (Carell) love life begins to unravel Jacob Palmer (Gosling) takes him under his wing and gives Cal a makeover and a crash course on how to be good with women. There’s plenty of romance in it and a bit of Steve Carell genius is surely what you need on a Sunday night?
