If you’re trying ever so hard to resist the urge to watch Christmas movies in November, then you’re probably crying out for some other options.

Yes, we’re being bombarded with festive flicks left, right and centre these days, however, thanks to Netflix, we can avoid it all.

With plenty of new titles being added to the site every day, you’d never be short of entertainment and tonight is no different.

From rom-com to drama, there’s plenty of new films to choose from on the streaming service.

Here are five worth considering tonight.

 

1. Outlaw King

Plot: In 14th-century Scotland, Robert the Bruce claims the crown and leads a fierce uprising to win back the country’s independence from English rule.

2. Forever My Girl

Plot: A young musician leaves his fiancée at the altar to pursue fame and fortune, then returns home nearly a decade later, hoping to win her back.

3. The Light Between Oceans

Plot: A happily married but childless couple on a remote Australian island wrestle with a moral dilemma when they discover a lifeboat carrying an infant.

4. The 34th

Plot: Through intimate interviews, this film recounts the inception of the 34th amendment to the Irish Constitution, which legalised same-sex marriage.

5. Allied

Plot: Allied agent Max Vatan falls for a French spy during World War II. When Vatan learns she might be a double agent, he strives to prove her innocence.
