Coronation Street’s Adam Barlow exits Weatherfield next week to go “travelling” after some serious drama with Sarah Platt and Gary Windass.
The solicitor will soon find himself in the middle of some major drama after he invites Sarah over for a night-cap – and, ultimately, make a move on her.
Digital Spy note that it’s not clear if Sarah will give into temptation or not (as, understandably, soap bosses want to keep it quiet).
However, the evening will have a serious impact on her relationship with Gary – especially after Seb Franklin spots her arguing with Adam in the street.
He assumes that she is being hassled and jumps in to protect her…which leads to Adam punching him.
The solicitor tries to make amends with Seb and represents him in court as the teen tries to gain custody for his twin siblings, Charlie and Lexi.
But when Gary fires him from his job at the builders yard, leaving him with no immediate way to provide for the twins, Seb decides to spill the beans about Sarah and Adam.
After Seb drops the bombshell, Daniel Osbourne finds Adam with his bags packed, at the flat.
He explains to his uncle that he needs a change of scenery and is going to be headed travelling for a couple of months, before exiting in a taxi. Sarah watches his taxi drive off, with mixed feelings of relief and guilt.
Thankfully, it looks like he won’t be gone for too long.
The publication report that Samuel Robertson – the actor who plays Adam – will be back on the cobbles after a short break.
