So, what’s the sitch?

Disney Channel is bringing back one of their best cartoons…as soon as she checks her beeper, that is.

A little more than a decade after the Disney cartoon first ended its run, it looks like Kim Possible is back – and headed for the big screen.

According to TVLine, casting for all roles – including Kim, Ron Stoppable and Wade – is already underway.

And let’s not forget Rufus, the naked mole rat, either.

And in even better news, the original series creators Mark McCorkle and Robert Schooley are writing the script alongside The DUFF‘s Josh Cagan.

The cartoon first ran for 87 episodes between 2002 and 2007, during which time it got two made-for-TV movies: 2005’s Kim Possible Movie: So the Drama and 2003’s Kim Possible: A Stitch in Time.

The Disney series followed a teenage girl as she tries to balance her life as a highschooler and a secret agent. She’s joined along the way by her sidekick, Ron Stoppable, and his naked mole rat Rufus.

Even Stevens‘ Christy Carlson Romano, Girl Meets World‘s Will Friedle and The Simpsons’ Nancy Cartwright voiced Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable and Rufus respectively.

They were joined by Baby Daddy‘s Tahj Mowry (Wade), Futurama‘s John DiMaggio (Dr. Drakken) and Disjointed’s Nicole Sullivan (Shego).
