Viewers call out Love Island girls after they exclude Danica and Indiyah

Several fans were unhappy with the way Indiyah and Danica were treated on last night’s episode.

Love Island winner Amber Gill and several other viewers took to Twitter last night to share that they were less than impressed with some of the islanders’ treatment of Indiyah and Danica.

In the latest episode, a dramatic recouping switched things up in the villa, and afterwards Paige Thorne, Gemma Owen, Tasha Ghouri and Antigone Buxton all sat down to discuss the situation.

However, when Indiyah and Danica approached them, Paige asked them to leave them to catch up before including them properly.

She said: “Girlies, do you mind if we just have a little catch up and then we can all catch up together?”

Danica then replied with “You four?”, and Paige confirmed, before saying, “It’s not like that.”

Indiyah and Danica then said that it was fine and walked away together.

On Twitter, many fans picked up on the moment, and shared that they felt Indiyah and Danica were being excluded.

Amber Gill, who won the show in 2019, wrote: “Paige was rude there. I hate fake nice.”

She then followed that tweet up with: “I’m shocked at Paige sorry maybe that’s the true self there.”

Another viewer described it as “by far the worst scene of the night”, and said that Indiyah and Danica were “shooed like stray cats”.

Someone else tweeted: “Sorry but I can’t believe Paige actually shooed Danica and Indiyah away like that… that was nasty.”

Others defended Paige, and said that she thought the reason she asked for a private chat was so that Antigone could share her feelings about the recoupling, which led her to pick Charlie to couple up with, after Ekin-Su selected Davide and Danica chose Jay.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and on the Virgin Media Player.
