One of the biggest nights in British film has come and gone, and this year’s BAFTA awards saw The Revenant steal the show.
While
Mad Max: Fury Road scooped four awards, Leo’s venture into the wild with a bear saw him win Best Actor, Alejandro González Iñárritu win Best Director, while the film itself was honoured with a series of awards - scooping Best Film, Best Cinematography and Best Sound on the night.
Irish film Brooklyn, which sees Saoirse Ronan, Domhnall Gleeson in leading roles and directed by John Crowley, is also co-financed by the BBC, landing the feature a nomination and award win in the ‘Outstanding British Film’ category.
