Angela Scanlon annoyed The One Show viewers on last night’s show

There's surely more to this than we're seeing.

Angela Scanlon is currently presenting The One Show on The BBC while presenter Alex Jones is on maternity leave. She is usually a hit with viewers but last night she left them very unimpressed after cutting guest Emma Willis short. They had started a discussion about sweets when Ore asked Emma what her favourite sweet is. Shortly after she started to give her answer Angela interrupted her to cut to a pre-recorded video piece. To be fair to Angela, she may have had a tight schedule to stick to. Often during live TV shows, a presenter will be told through an earpiece to move a segment along and so, for all we know, Angela could have been instructed to interrupt Emma for the video piece. Either way, it didn't stop viewers from complaining online:
