Another iconic challenge is on the way tonight as a surprise dumping looms

Ellen Fitzpatrick

Tonight.

Love Island returns tonight and as the islanders settle in for the last few days of the show, the fallout from the talent show is still playing on Ekin-Su’s mind.

Speaking after the eventful night, Davide can’t get enough of his own carbonara and is making even more when Ekin-Su pulls him for a chat about what he had said during the talent show.

Davide asks: “Why are you upset?”

Ekin-Su admits: “We can banter, it’s funny, some comments just got to me a little bit.”

Davide replies: “For sure, you comment some things as well.”

As the pair laugh and smile at each other, Davide says: “Peace?”

Ekin-Su says in the Beach Hut: “Look, what can I say, it’s hard to stay angry at the King of carbonara.”

With the drama brushed over, the girls are treated to a spa day the next morning by the boys, complete with cucumber for their eyes, mimosas and massages.

As the boys set up, Ekin-Su says: “Am I living in a dream? All these good looking men bringing us drinks.”

Andrew says of his massage skills: “I’m good with my hands, I know what I’m doing. She’s a lucky girl, very lucky girl.”

The producers have brought back yet another iconic Love Island challenge in tonight’s episode as the islanders will take part in a Mile High-themed challenge.

The girls are dressed as cabin crew as the boys are heading on holidays, giving them a full safety briefing and offering refreshments before joining their chosen passenger for a private Mile High Club moment.

It’s when they get back from their “flight” that everything goes less accordingly, as Paige gets a dreaded text asking all the islanders to gather around the fire pit.

They soon learn that the public has been voting for their favourite couple and that some Islanders are now at risk of leaving the villa.

Standing nervously, the islanders learn whose luggage is here to stay and whose is heading off on a real flight home.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and Virgin Media Player.
