Ant’s birthday message to Dec is exactly why we love them so much

Roll on November when they're back on our screens.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are a hugely successful duo but aside from that, they're great friends too. Earlier this year, Ant entered rehab seeking treatment for "substance abuse, prescription drugs, and drinking" after a knee operation went wrong, leaving him in severe pain. Unsurprisingly, his long-time colleague Declan Donnelly was one of the first people to offer his support at the time, sending a touching message to thank fans. Today, Ant was on Twiter for a very important reason, to wish his buddy a happy birthday and in typical Ant & Dec fashion, there had to be a joke included too.

This message comes a few weeks after Ant returned to Twitter for the first time since leaving rehab, with a huge thank you for his many fans.
