Paul McCartney is a music legend, but he’s hardly well known for his acting work.
However, this looks all set to change, if Deadline is to be believed. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has just wrapped shooting, but the directors Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and producer Jerry Bruckheimer have gone back to add another scene built around Sir Paul.
Kaya Scodelario aka Effy from Skins will also co-star in the 5th instalment of the series, along with Orlando Bloom and Javier Bardem.
It is not yet known what role McCartney will play, and the film isn’t being released until 2017, so we have quite a wait.
It’s not the first time a British rock legend has appeared in one of the films, The Rolling Stone’s Keith Richards appeared as Captain Jack’s father in On Stranger Tides.
