Arctic Monkeys have announced a show in Dublin later this year

Expect tickets to sell out in the blink of an eye.

Arctic Monkeys have announced a show in Dublin's 3Arena on September 24 this year.

The Sheffield band will release their sixth album Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino next month, and they've announced a show down in the Docklands as part of a UK and Ireland tour.

Tickets are priced beginning at €65.95 including booking fee and will go on sale from the usual outlets on Friday April 13.

The Lemon Twigs have been announced as special guests on the dates in September.

  • September 9/10 – The O2 Arena, London
  • September 15 – Birmingham Arena
  • September 18/19 – FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield
  • September 24 – 3Arena, Dublin
  • September 27 – Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle

The news of the tour comes as the band have announced their sixth studio album, Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, is set to be released on May 11.

The band have already promised that the album will "up the ante in a big way", with a "bold and brilliant album reflecting Turner’s ever more comprehensive creative vision.”
