Arguably Tom Hardy's greatest film is on the TV tonight so we've cancelled all our plans

Twice the fun.

If you, like us, had vaguely constructed plans for this evening that you didn't really want to attend anyway then you're in luck because the best reason to stay in tonight just landed.

Legend starring Tom Hardy (and Tom Hardy) is on the TV tonight and we will 100 percent be watching.

If you're not at all familiar with the film (sorry, who are you?), let us give you a brief and spoiler-free synopsis.

The movie follows the notorious Kray twins, Reggie and Ronnie, as they go around London roughing up some people, strolling into a lot of nightclubs, and murdering a few people while they're at it.

Both Reggie and Ronnie are played by Hardy too so if you're at all put off by the plot of the movie itself, you've still got twice the Hardy to keep you entertained.

A lot of other class people also show up in the movie too like David Thewlis, Emily Browning, and Christopher Eccleston.

Singer Duffy (remember her?) even makes an appearance at one stage.

Stunning.

The film was released back in 2015 and although critics were pretty much divided as to whether it was actually A Good Movie or not, almost everyone was in agreeance that Hardy was incredible.

So at least there's that.

Legend is on Channel 4 tonight at 9pm.
