Tonight, Virgin Media will air a documentary detailing the events of that day in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, on January 12th, 2022 and its aftermath.
'Evil In The Room: The Ashling Murphy Story' will examine the brutal murder of the 23-year-old, the Garda investigations that followed, and the trial which saw Josef Puška found guilty of her murder.
RTÉ News reported that on Thursday, November 9th, jurors at the Central Criminal Court had reached an unanimous guilty verdict for Puška, 33, following a murder trial that lasted around three weeks.
The documentary will also celebrate Ashling's short life and the profound and devastating impact her death had on Irish society.
