BBC One have shared the first glimpse at season 6 of Line of Duty

We are SO ready for this.

BBC One have shared the first (very, very brief) look at season six of Line of Duty.

Oh, and they’ve confirmed the episodes will be on telly this year.

The network revealed the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it shot as part of their video showing what’s going to be arriving in 2020.

The clip shows Kate Fleming looking at a camera intensely, before looking up in shock.

Other shows that were included in the easer were Killing Eve, Little Mix: The Search, Noughts and Crosses, Doctor Who, Our Girl, and The Greatest Dancer.

The news comes a few weeks after Kelly MacDonald joined the series as an ‘enigmatic adversary’ for AC-12.

The actress will play Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson, the senior investigating officer of an unsolved murder whose unconventional conduct raises suspicions at AC-12.

And while not much else has been revealed about her character, we’re already intrigued – especially after Jed Mercurio’s comments about her character.

“We’re honoured that Kelly Macdonald will join Martin, Vicky and Adrian in series six of Line Of Duty,” he said. “DCI Joanne Davidson will prove the most enigmatic adversary AC-12 have ever faced.”

We cannot wait for Line of Duty to return.
