Ben Platt has confirmed season two of The Politician is officially underway.
The actor, who plays Payton Hobart on the Netflix series, took to Twitter to confirm the news on Tuesday.
Alongside a photo of what appears to be his nameplate outside his dressing room, he said: “we back.”

The actor previously told The Hollywood Reporter how it wasn’t possible to really predict where the story would be headed after that reveal.
He said:
“Every time we think we know, [creators Ryan Murphy, Ian Brennan and Brad Falchuk] really shock us.
“All I know is that it will be very much focused on mine and Judith’s race, and that we’ll be in New York now. And we’re theoretically a little bit older and coming into our own as adults.”
