Planning on staying in on New Year’s Eve?

For some people, New Year’s Eve is the perfect night out on the town. For others, the idea of staying in with a good movie and avoiding the NYE crowds is the dream.

If you fall into the latter category, we have good news: La La Land is going to be added to Netflix on December 31.

The movie follows Sebastian Wilder (Ryan Gosling) and Mia Dolan (Emma Stone), who are drawn together by their common desire to do what they love.

But as success mounts they are faced with decisions that begin to fray the fragile fabric of their love affair, and the dreams they worked so hard to maintain in each other threaten to rip them apart.

Oh, and it also features some gorgeous costumes and super-catchy, will-definitely-get-stuck-in-your-head songs.

Like we said, La La Land will arrive on Netflix on December 31.

If you’re looking for more information on what else is going to be coming to Netflix in the coming weeks, don’t worry, we have you covered.

You can find the full list of December additions right here. Highlight include You, The Witcher, 6 Underground, V Wars, Marriage Story and The Confession Killer.

And the trailer (and the latest information on) Ian Somerhalder’s new vampire series V Wars is all right here; while the first look at season two of You can be found here.

But if you’re looking for something more festive, the trailer for A Christmas Prince: The Royal Baby is right here.
