Better mark the calendars, the premiere date of Ian Somerhalder’s Netflix drama V Wars has been announced

Hello, Dr. Swann.

It’s time to mark the calendars, because Netflix have announced the premiere date for Ian Somerhalder’s new Netflix drama, V Wars.

The TV series follows Dr. Luther Swann (Ian Somerhalder) as he enters a world of untold horror when a mysterious disease transforms his best friend, Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes), into a murderous predator who feeds on other humans.

As the disease spreads and more people are transformed, society fractures into opposing camps pitting normal people against the growing number of these “vampires.”

Swann races against time to understand what’s happening, while Fayne rises to become the powerful underground leader of the vampires.

And just ahead of Hallowe’en, the streaming service shared the first look at the series – basically, a number of photos of the former The Vampire Diaries star – and confirmed when season one is going to be landing.

The 10-episode first season will be landing on December 5 – just in time for Christmas.

However, if you’re looking for more information about what’s going to be arriving on Netflix in the coming weeks, you can find the list of November additions here.
