To All The Boys is officially getting a spin off series

This is gonna be SO good.

If you were a fan of Netflix’s To All The Boys film trilogy, then you’re in luck, as the franchise is officially getting its very own spin off series.

The three films – To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, To All The Boys: PS I Still Love You and To All The Boys: Always And Forever – are based off bestselling author Jenny Han’s novels. They then became an instant classic with Netflix viewers, and it seems we’re in for plenty more from the film’s universe.

The brand new show, which is titled XO, Kitty, sees Lara Jean’s (Lana Candor) younger sister Kitty (Anna Cathcart) take centre stage as she embarks on her own adventure.

News of a spin off series was announced with a cute video on the official To All The Boys Twitter account.

It read: “The story isn’t over just yet.

“XO, Kitty, a spinoff series starring @annacathcart inspired by To All The Boys is on its way to Netflix.”

In the video, Kitty reads out an email, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect from this spin off.

She says: “I bet you thought the story was over… That there wouldn’t be any more letters.

“But there’s one Covey sister – some might call her the favourite – whose love story is just beginning.

“Stay tuned, XO, Kitty.”

The spin off will consist of 10 episodes, and it’s bound to fill that To All The Boys-shaped hole left in our hearts.

According to Netflix, the premise will see Kitty pack her bags and travel across the world with the aim of reuniting with her long-distance boyfriend whom she met during the Covey family holiday in the franchise’s third film, To All The Boys: Always and Forever.

We don’t have a release date for XO, Kitty just yet, but you can bet we’ll be streaming the other films until we do!
