You renewed for a fourth season ahead of season 3

Always giving us what we want.

We’ve all been so excited for You season three and with only one more day to wait before we get to binge it, Netflix has given us some incredible news.

The streaming platform has just announced that the hit series is getting a fourth season, before we even get a glimpse at the third.

The show has been one of the most popular on Netflix, with the third instalment dropping on Friday, October 15th, but this won’t be the end of Joe’s creepiness.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ best-selling novels, it wasn’t long before the world was hooked on Joe’s antics, going from a bit of a creep in the first season to a full on serial killer.

First airing in 2018, it stars Gossip Girls’ Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti as Joe and Love, respectively, with the couple now married in California with their son Henry.

With a very dark and mysterious past, the couple poses as your average and standard pair, nothing out of the ordinary.

While trying to shake their murderous past, the show would be boring if they didn’t kill again, so we can’t imagine season three will see them sort their lives out.

Especially since, when speaking to Access, Penn revealed it’s only going to get bigger and better in the third season and be completely unexpected.

“We’re definitely upping the ante,” he said.

“I think by the end of the first episode, something quite unexpected happens. It’s not outside of the wheelhouse of what would happen, but you might think that would happen at the very end of the season. So, it’s like, we sort of hurdle along very quickly…I think by the end of the season, you’re in this totally different place that you didn’t think you’d be.”

While nothing has been said about when season four will hit our screens, it doesn’t matter all that much with season three only around the corner.
