Set in modern-day England, it may be a far cry from the Regency era, but it stars one of the most popular Bridgerton actors.

Simone Ashley stars in rom-com Picture This and has proven she is worthy of the leading lady role.

Picture This may not be the best rom-com we've watched but it's something to pop on in the background when you're cooking dinner or unwinding after a draining day.

It follows Pia as she is set up on five dates in the run-up to her sister's wedding day.

Her family have traditional views and are pressuring her to settle down before her 30th birthday but that isn't what Pia wants.

She wants to focus on her art gallery, but they pressure her to find a man.

The synopsis reads: 'Whilst attending her sister's engagement party, a spiritual guru asserts that a young woman will meet the love of her life among her next five dates.'

The theme of the movie is pretty relatable for millennial women, and it has an addictive soundtrack, too.

The rom-com is based on the Australian movie Five Blind Dates.

Simone Ashley stars alongside Anoushka Chadha, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, and Luke Fetherston.
