Love Island‘s Chris Taylor has confirmed his split from Harley Brash.
The reality TV contestants said that they made the decision to call quits their relationship last night, amidst reports that they had already ended things.
The pair coupled up towards the end of this year’s Love Island, being dumped from the villa ahead of the final.
Chris shared an Instagram post confirming the split this morning.
“A serious post for once guys,” he wrote.

“I’m sad to say that both Harley and I have parted ways and came to this decision last night, despite rumours from the media last week.
“Both of us have been very busy with separate opportunities and haven’t had enough quality time for each other.
“We both have the upmost support and respect for one another and the decision was made amicably. I wish her all the best and will always be glad we rode the Love Island adventure together.”

Chris went on to say that he is very proud of Harley “and everything she’ll do.”
“The future is bright crumpet go get em!,” he said.
Harley has yet to comment on the split.
This comes after it was reported that the pair had split last week due to the lack of romance in their relationship.
“Harley and Chris broke up a couple of days ago, it was really amicable and they both agreed they’ll stay friends,” an insider told The Sun.
“Sadly there’s no romance there – it was just a holiday fling.”
Chris and Harley are the first Love Island 2019 couple to split after leaving the villa.
