Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden's baby news is melting our hearts today
As far as celebrity couples go, we think you don't get much sweeter than Cameron Diaz and her rocker beau Benji Madden (have you seen their adorable Instagram snaps of each other lately?!)
According to Life & Style magazine, the pair, who tied the knot back in 2015, have been trying to add babies to their brood ever since, but so far without any luck.
And insider said, “[Cam] is doing everything she can to get pregnant, like working out and eating fertility-boosting foods, and she’s even resorted to scheduling sex."
Diaz, 44, has reportedly been trying to get pregnant through fertility treatments, and a source revealed to OK! exclusively last year that the couple has endured at least two rounds of IVF, neither successful. She says it was brutal on her body," the source revealed. "[She] gained weight and her moods fluctuated wildly.”
But now it looks like Cameron and Benji's baby dreams might finally be coming true – as a friend of the couple has revealed to US OK! magazine that they’re looking into adoption.
“They were so locked into the idea of conceiving, but they ended up constantly crushed,” the pal tells the publication. “Opening up to this possibility has lifted a weight off their shoulders. They’re ecstatic.”
The actress and her 38-year-old husband - who, of course, is already a doting uncle to his brother Joel's two kids, Harlow and Sparrow- are apparently looking within the US for a domestic adoption. And according to the source, the famous couple are said to be searching for a little boy to bring joy to their lives... and, spills the insider, they’ve already picked out a name.
“Cam wants to name him Emilio.” Which, the publications reveals, is more than likely a touching tribute to the actress' dad Emilio, who passed away in 2008.
