You can now rent out the Harry Potter house on AirBnB

Calling all Harry Potter fanatics!

Fans of Harry Potter understand just how precious Godric’s Hollow is.

This little village is where James and Lily took their baby boy to safety when they were being pursued by Voldermort.

Godric’s Hollow was also the place where Voldermort failed to kill Harry when he was just an infant.

In the Harry Potter movies, filming for Godric’s Hollow actually took place in Lavenham, a medieval village in the county of Suffolk.

Right now, Harry Potter fanatics can actually check in to the Potters’ home on AirBnB.

De Vere House, which was built as a hunting lodge in the 15th century is currently up for grabs on the accommodation rental site, and we all know a Potterhead who’d be right at home here.

A two-night stay at this property, which has two four poster bedrooms, will cost you €535, including the service fee.

Indeed, it’s quite a price to pay, but when you see what this lavish property looks like on the inside, it kind of makes sense.

The rental description reads: “De Vere House is a highly acclaimed former Five Star and Gold Award bed and breakfast accommodation now with Air B&B and offers stunning facilities.

“Lavenham is reputedly Britain’s finest medieval village (with over 300 protected heritage properties and appearing as Godric’s Hollow in the Harry Potter films).

“De Vere House is located in the centre of this pretty village and itself offers a wealth of history as well as comfortable accommodation and delicious Suffolk breakfast.”

As well as the plush bedrooms, guests have access to a private sitting room with a log fire and a courtyard garden. On top of that, the AirBnB serves guests a full English breakfast (a Vegetarian breakie is also available) in the dining room of the main wing of the house.
