Growing up, a lot of us dreamed of being Disney princesses.
For actress Alyssa Milano, this dream became a reality, as her stunning features were the inspiration for The Little Mermaid‘s Ariel.
The creative team behind the 1989 Disney classic based the red-headed mermaid’s body and movement on writer Sherri Stoner, and her facial structure on the Charmed actress.
Speaking on The Wendy Williams show, Milano revealed: “They asked me to host The Making of :The Little Mermaid and it came out that the drawing and likeness of The Little Mermaid was based on pictures of me from when I was younger.”
How does she not talk about this all the time?
If it was us, we’d have a badge.
