CBB viewers praise Emma Willis for grilling Roxanne Pallett in last night's interview

“I’m the most hated woman in Britain…”

That’s how Roxanne Pallett described herself on Celebrity Big Brother last night when speaking with Emma Willis for her official exit interview.

The soap star left the CBB house over the weekend after accusing Corrie actor Ryan Thomas of punching her repeatedly in the ribs, however, yesterday admitted that she “got it wrong”.

Host Emma Willis revealed that the show received over 10,000 questions for Roxanne during the episode last night, the highest on record.

CBB bosses chose to pre-record the interview rather than put Roxanne in front of a live studio audience.

And while many fans were worried about Emma going easy on the actress after what was called a "weak" interview on Jeremy Vine earlier in the day, she received huge praise for pressing the star on the serious accusations she made in the house.

“You could have ruined him,” the host told Roxanne as she said her apologies to Ryan and his family.

“Consider the implications! Can you imagine if those cameras hadn’t have been there?

"You would have ruined him.”

Roxanne said the incident “cripples me with embarrassment and shame. Seeing Ryan distressed…”

But Emma wasn't letting her away with simple apologies.

“You have had the luxury of time and research,” Emma said.

“A lot of people aren’t buying your apology.”

As Roxanne started to tear up, Emma called the interview to a halt, pulling out her earpiece and thanking the crew.

Viewers praised Emma for grilling the actress on what she had done inside of the house.
