Celebrity Big Brother Fans Were Pretty Angry With Gaz Beadle Today

Geordie Shore's Gary Beadle had Celebrity Big Brother fans up in arms after playing a prank on Snapchat which encouraged people to vote for Scotty T. The Mirror reports that Gary told fans to call him in the Geordie Shore House but when they dialled the number, they discovered that they had voted for his co-star to win the show. It was reported that the reality TV star uploaded an image to his Snapchat with the words "Call me now in the GShore house on 6442413".

A message was later released on Gaz's Snapchat saying he had nothing to do with the post. "Apologies to anyone who was upset by the prank yesterday. It was not malicious or nasty in intent. Apologies from the marketing team. This was no way connected to Gaz" read the message. Channel 5 bosses also addressed the issue in a statement on the official Celebrity Big Brother Website writing: We’ve been made aware of an individual’s post on Snapchat which may have led people to unwittingly call the phone line to vote for Scotty T.
