The actor who formerly played Tristan had his say.

Chad Michael Murray unfortunately did not make a reappearance on Gilmore Girls:A Year In The Life, but the character of Tristan did.

Tristan was played by Anton Narinskiy, a new casting for the show and many viewers seemed to miss that Chad’s role had been replaced.

Despite originally playing the role of Tristan, it seems Chad Michael Murray bears the show and its producers no ill feeling.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight!, the 35-year-old wished the cast and crew well.

“I haven’t personally seen it, but I know everyone’s really excited.”

“I wish I could’ve been there but it’s all good — life is good. All my buddies got to go back.”

Although he missed out on being in the hit revival, he said he had his hands more than full with his son and new daughter on the way.

“Officially the luckiest man in the world, life is good.

“I couldn’t complain — our son is awesome, he’s a giant. Little baby girl on the way, so, you know, I’m scared sh**less to be honest. I’m not gonna lie.”

“It’s a whole new ball game…So, I’ve got the guy figured out, you know, and we throw the ball around, and we wrestle, and he likes to beat up Daddy.

“Now it’s the baby girl, and she’s gonna have me wrapped around her finger, and I’m gonna be in big trouble and not know how to discipline or anything.”
